Time will stop when you first lay eyes on the Isle of Pines’ glittering blue water and white, powdery beaches. Captain James Cook was the first European to discover Isle of Pines in 1774 on his second voyage to New Zealand. He gave the island its name after seeing the tall native pines for which it is famous. Formed from nutritious volcanic rock, the isle is surrounded by the New Calendonia Barrier Reef. This morning we will have a 2 hour sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will visit the Notre Dame de l’Assomption, a convictbuilt Catholic Church in the heart of Vao village and take a short walk through tropical rainforest to the natural grotto of Queen Hortense. In the afternoon we have our 3rd exclusive on board concert, featuring Terry “Harmonica” Bean and guest musicians. Evening: Enjoy high-quality Radiance of the Seas entertainment, including Broadway-style shows, comedy shows, etc.
Day 5 - Wednesday 30 October 2019 Maré, New Caledonia
As the southernmost Loyalty island, Maré is the first to welcome the sun’s golden rays in the morning. Untouched by the outside world, the island holds a wild beauty supported by environmentally sustainable tourism. The landmass itself is formed from layers of coral, and the entire island is honeycombed with secret freshwater lagoons, grottoes and sinkholes. Today is free for you to discover Maré, at your leisure. In the afternoon we have our 4th exclusive on board concert, featuring Jesse Valach and guest musicians. Join The Redeemers and our celebrity musicians for a pre-dinner soiree and inclusive blues jam. You’re invited to bring your voice and instruments!
Day 6 - Thursday 31 October 2019 Port Vila, Vanuatu
In Port Port Vila, Vanuatu’s energetic capital, you’ll be greeted by friendly Bislama-speaking locals and street-side markets. You will see a touch of French influence still remains in the form of bistros and murals. This morning we will visit Ekasup Cultural Village, an award-winning attraction that brings to life the world of ancient Melanesian culture. You will meet the Chief of the village and his warriors armed with traditional weapons, learn about Melanesian custom medicine, watch a performance by the Futuna youth and view a weaving demonstration of both decorative and practical baskets, mats and hats. Join The Redeemers and our celebrity musicians for a pre-dinner soiree and inclusive blues jam. You’re invited to bring your voice and instruments!
Day 7 - Friday 1 November 2019 Noumea, New Caledonia

This afternoon, get together with our blues artists for a fun-filled Blues Quiz. Great prizes for the winning teams! We also have our 2nd blues workshop featuring Terry “Harmonica” Bean and guest musicians. Evening: enjoy fabulous on-board dining.
